In this day and age transgender people are some of the most discriminated and disrespected people on the planet. Acceptance in their world comes at a heavy price to become the person they truly need to be. The transgender community is a huge part of the LGBTQ and has a significant place in gay history. That is why director Mark Freeman decided to tell their story of tragedy and triumph as he gives Atlanta a dose of gay history in the movie “Transgender Tuesdays”.
