The Midwest truly experienced a Cultural Explosion the weekend of April 27 as EXOTICA took control of the Leland House hotel in downtown Detroit and turned it in to a unique world of fetishistic indulgence.

The energy created by such an unprecedented combination was incredible, and the historic Leland House hotel brought an atmosphere to the event that that was undeniable… one guest told me that she, “felt like a princess from the 1920’s every time I walked through the hotel’s grand lobby.” Seeing the event’s guests promenading through the hotel in full fetish regalia, looking as gorgeous as could be, was a breathtaking experience.
The sexiness began on Friday, and continued almost non-stop through Sunday afternoon, with vending, performances and workshops by day, and more performances and the hottest parties I’ve seen in a long time by night.
