Thumping Stereotypes
There are those moments where one has an “us and them” experience.
I live in a fag cocoon and everybody around me is intertwined in my web. Sometimes I’ll be wandering down the street or sitting on a train (as if I catch trains) and as somebody walks past I’ll give them the once over and get an instant impression of that person’s character then ponder what their life is like and just how different we might be.
Last Sunday we had our final night performing at the Sly Fox (I know, who knew we were there?). It was a Dykes on Bikes birthday event and the girls were having a few drinks to celebrate and just quietly (as if those girls do anything quietly) they love a man in a dress.
