Hey gang. First of all, Vicky, Jon and Dan want to wish you a Happy Halloween. It’s probably our favorite holiday!
Now we’d like to tell you about a new addition to the site.
When we made our chat room Members only, we got a lot of email from our members saying they missed the trolls. Well, personally we think the chat room is a lot nicer and friendlier now, but it has lost some of that “Wild West” feel that it used to have.
We’ve now released a SECOND chat room that does not require a profile or a subscription to enter. It’s open to all, but… Mind you, it’s not going to be policed.
Our main chat room will remain restricted to those with completed profiles or subscriptions, but now all of your friends that refuse to post a profile or purchase a subscription will have a place to chat in the Public room.
Mind you, running URNA is incredibly expensive and time consuming. This is Dan’s full-time job and he barely makes enough to scrape by. We rely on Subscriptions and Advertising Revenue to keep the site afloat. Hopefully, having a free place to chat will encourage others to finally take the plunge and purchase a subscription (or at least post a completed profile).
You will see a new option in the top menu bar (Chat FREE). You’ll also see 2 Chat Rooms on the Chat Entry Page. Click on Member Chat or PUBLIC Chat on the Chat Entry page to select the room you wish to enter. Again, keep in mind, the Public Chat Room will not be policed by us. If you want an environment that is policed you should choose the Member Chat room.
