Christopher ‘Kitty’ Grey, a transgender inmate, wants to be in a women`s prison, but Colorado state policy forbids it because he has male genitalia.
Grey is serving 16 years to life in Limon Prison, southwest of Denver, for molesting an 8-year-old girl for five years, the Denver Post reported.
He believes Colorado has a constitutional obligation to perform a sex-change operation on him so he can go to a women`s prison. He`s filed a lawsuit against the state, demanding to be treated by a psychologist who is a gender specialist.
