Eight professional drag performers and five cross-dressed students took the stage in Lehigh?s second annual drag show ?Illusions,? Thursday night to raise money for PRIDE of the Greater Lehigh Valley.

PRIDE was formed in 1993 by members of Lehigh Valley?s gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender and intersex community.

PRIDE?s mission is to promote integration and acceptance for individuals of all sexual orientations and gender identities.

Jeff Antsen, ?09, Spectrum?s event coordinator, said he was glad to see Illusions in its second year.

?It?s a fun, educational way for Lehigh to experience diversity in action,? Antsen said.

Todd Campbell, ?09, a special events director of University Productions, agreed.

?The Illusions drag show provides an opportunity for people to express themselves in a creative way,? Campbell said.
