Dan’s going to be visiting Hollywood, FL (between Ft. Lauderdale and Miami) from Friday, 3/11 until Tuesday, 3/15.
We plan on visiting The Castle on Saturday evening sometime around 10pm and plan on spending a few hours there if any of you locals would like the opportunity to meet Dan in the Flesh. Not sure what else we’ll be doing while Dan’s in town but if you have any suggestions, we’ll be happy to listen: )
For those of you who don’t know The Castle, it’s run by a guy name Deen, a really nice guy, and it fills the void left by Trixie’s closing down. Many of the Girls who used to perform at Trixie’s now perform at The Castle. It’s a 7 day a week Trans Bar, the only one left in Southern Florida and it’s on the southbound side of Dixie Hwy between Johnson and Sheridan (don’t know the exact address but The Castle name is obvious when you go by it), about a mile or so north of where Trixie’s was.
