Out of the Closet

I am a 44 year old, happily married, cross dresser/transvestite/non-op transsexual. Well, I don't exactly know what I am. I guess I fit into all these categories in one way or another. To me these are all labels that society tries to put on us to pigeon hole us into some clinical designation. The only thing that really matters is that I was born male but have been compelled to dress in women's clothing since I was around 11 or 12 years old. At least that is the first time I remember doing it. I've known I was different for as long as I can remember.

How I Came Out to My Wife

In April of this year I made the decision to come out to my wife. It wasn't an easy decision. I had thought about it hundreds of times over the years but never had the nerve to tell her. I couldn't because I was so afraid I would lose her. Finally, something happened that forced me to take action.
