Bolthouse To Implement Gay-Friendly Programs

Bakersfield's Bolthouse Farms will provide scholarships and sponsorships to show its support of gay, bisexual and transgender equality, according to an agreement that ends a boycott of the huge food producer. Bolthouse also will provide medical benefits to same-sex partners of employees.
The agreement with Californians Against Hate ends the "Don't Buy Bolthouse" campaign which has included picketing in the Los Angeles area.
