Big biceps, hairy chests and muscled torsos are not what you expect to see from ballerinas. But then The Trocks - or, more correctly, Les Ballets Trockadero de Monte Carlo - are not your typical ballet troupe.
Born 35 years ago in Manhattan, The Trocks is an all-male company that combines the physical capabilities of male dancers with the grace of ballerinas. Or, more succinctly, they're male ballet dancers frocking up as women.
